Our mission here at The Collective is to create well-rounded, confident and strong dancers. Part of this mission is keeping the fact that our dancers are humans first at the forefront.
Some ways we instill this mission in and out of our walls are as follows. We typically try our best to limit the amount of hours our dancers are in the studio. This ensures that the hours that they are here are worthwhile and they're getting the most out of it. This also allows for other training opportunities, school activities and family time. We make sure our dancers are confident and supportive by creating a positive and uplifting environment within the studio. Our instructors always want the best for each and every student and all of our students want the best for each other. We also lead with the fact that our dancers are athletes and they require such training. We have many classes to support strength, muscle growth and injury prevention such as anatomy, pilates, yoga and ankle strength. We also keep strong minds with journaling, meditation, reflection and team bonding.
